Ay yi yi...

Oh, man... It's been forever, hasn't it? Ugh. The past year has been pretty crazy for me. What am I saying? The past three years have been crazy for me!

I just haven't been doing as much art. It's actually really sad. I remember when I used to draw almost constantly. Now, it's such a far and distant thing. I've mostly been doing really goofy MSPaint challenges that, while making me happy to do, aren't really something I'd post on DeviantArt. It's like my motivation has gone down the tubes.

Which isn't to say that I haven't been producing. I knit, I sew, I write, I cook, I dream, I do all manner of things. Unfortunately, part of my time necessarily involves cleaning my apartment and buying groceries and attending all the minutiae of daily life so that I just don't feel like my brain wants to create anything after a point.

I'll get back, I know it!

Hi there. I'm firing some of those miniature sculpture/capodimonte pendants today. I'll be glazing them and finishing them up probably in the next couple of weeks. I should have about 9 that will be available for sale. Themes include desert landscape, roses, underwater, baby bird, english garden, and a couple more. I'll probably be putting some on etsy and some on my website. I'll let you know when I put them up. Might put a couple up here too.

Hello,
I've gotten several of the little capodimonte pendants done. I will be sending most of them to a friend to take to the Bead & Button Show in a few days. Let me know if you want any of them right away and I'll be happy to send them to you instead. You can pay me with paypal. I haven't had time to put them up on my website or Etsy and since they will be going to the show it didn't really make sense. So here are links to where I had posted them on a ceramic forum to show people. The photos were taken before the top glass was put on so as to avoid the glare. Let me know if you want more pictures or whatever. The large one will be $75 the smaller ones will vary a bit depending on the complexity from around $30 to $45.
Ok here is the large one it is about 1 1/2" long by about 1" wide. [link]

They're all really incredible. I'm always amazed at your talent! If I had the money, I'd probably greedily gobble them all up, but unfortunately I'm living on unemployment at the moment and just don't have any money to spare. :( But they're really, really beautiful!

Sorry to hear that. It sucks to not have any money.

I understand. Hope you find a job that you will love soon.

Have a great day.

Thank you for the fav. You have a very cool gallery, by the way.
:iconnaniken42:
Thank-you! Yours is pretty impressive, too. I've never been able to get tentacles right--frankly, I'm jealous. ;)

I am good with tentacles, bad with the suckers on the tentacles. I have had to scrap a few projects because of faintly (and unintentionally) pornographic suckers.
:iconnaniken42:
Heh heh... I mean... Oh dear! That's not amusing in any way whatsoever! But seriously, the ones on the tentacles in your gallery are quite G-rated, appropriate, and great-looking so you obviously aren't THAT bad with the suckers on the tentacles. ;)
